The LSU Rugby team absolutely dismantled teams this year and gone pretty much unnoticed around here.   They recently returned from Berkely, CA where they went 1-1 trying to win the national championship.  They beat the crap out of Utah 47-5 and lost a close one to San Diego St. 44-30.  The week before, they beat Air Force 51-18.   Earlier in the year, they beat Sam Houston 68-13 , Rice 81-0, Texas 58-3,  Texas A&M 33-14, and 120-0 over Texas Tech! 

I’ll be honest, I know little about the game and the rules, but I do know one thing……these guys know how to drink!  Back in the day they hung out at Brightside Bar and Grill and I had a couple with them once and sang some songs.  It was great!

The season is over and the guys will start training for 7′s this summer and the coach is excited about next year.  Here is a message from the coach.  Great season guys!  Bulawayo!
